IO 7 - Online module
We have created a free E-learning module training on outdoor education open to all Early Childhood Education & Care professionals. It will be considered as a long-life-learning experience in the teacher’s career
The online module has the aim to:
- better understand the potentialities of outdoor education
- fully engage in his/her outdoor learning practices
The content is based on the outputs & outcomes of the other working packages and it will help at the implementation of outdoor learning by the in-service professionals.
The duration of the full training is 24 hours. To make accessible to professionals, the content is spread over an introduction and 8 specific modules:
For each module, the session structure will consist of:
- Video to introduce the theme
- Reading a paper
- Lecture presentation
- Practical transfer – guide and video
- Practical exercise at home
- Multiple choice test and evaluation of the submodule with feedback
- Additional reading
Example:
A forum will also be available to create a network of outdoor ECEC professionals across Europe.
At the end of the course, each professional will receive a course certificate upon completion of the modules.
